High browse
Helping launch Google Chrome was the kind of challenge we like. Yes, it's a great product. It's faster, safer and more stable. But browsers don't feature high on a lot of people's priorities. They don't think about them. They just use them.
We set out to reach out to Europe's Internet users and engage them on a topic they haven't necessarily thought about before, showing them how great their browsing experience could be if they just gave Chrome a try. From speed to simplicity and style, from built-in translation to powerful extensions, our campaign then evolved to highlight this amazing browser's features.
In total the campaign featured over 1,600 creative executions running in 923 distinct ad placements across 174 individual direct site buys and networks to acheive a total reach of over 300m Unique Users across eight countries.
Of course those who were already using Chrome got a different message. We invited them to explore some of the other great benefits of their browser, or wrap it up in their favourite designer theme and give it to a friend for Christmas. Mac and Linux users got special treatment too.
