eBay had just centralised and consolidated their European marketing team. Based in Zurich it would bring together the company's 11 European nations under one roof. To eBay's credit they allowed us to get closer to them than we've ever done before. We became an integral part of the team. Our people were regularly spending more of their week in Zurich. We started by implementing our proprietary super-detailed reporting system. We optimised activity and worked with eBay on new dynamic creative. Analysis and media buying got stronger. The effort started to show in performance.
