We are delighted that our involvement in the redevelopment of Ryman’s website has come to fruition with the recent relaunch of the site. Working in partnership with e-inbusiness our role was to redesign the site to deliver improved user experience and ultimately a step change in site conversion.
With this redesign we faced a classic multi-channel retailer challenge. We were working with a client which needed to serve both B2C and B2B customers and with varying brand objectives from region to region. We incorporated these challenges into the site redesign by introducing new merchandising zones for focus on themed or seasonal products, a homepage that incorporates both B2B and B2C promotions, and the reworking of the primary navigation to raise the profile of their services (such as in store binding) versus their extensive product set.
Since the site was launched Ryman have already noticed significant performance improvement for users. Andy Harding, director of account sales and e-Commerce at Ryman states that the site is ‘undoubtedly a massive improvement on our previous web presence, and delivers a step change in both user experience and technical flexibility.’
