We’re delighted to share that we have just signed a deal to acquire San Francisco based digital media agency, Black Bag Advertising. We see this as an important first step for us in building our West Coast presence while continuing to enhance our analytical credentials.
Our growth over the last few years has been phenomenal and we continue to build upon our positive reputation in EMEA and North America. As our New York based team continues to expand and build momentum, the need for expansion and awareness across the US becomes increasingly important for our strategy.
Founded in 2004 by Eric Yang and Trevor Wright, Black Bag Advertising is an analytics and results driven media agency that provides media strategy, planning and buying, campaign management and analysis to clients in the automotive, banking, insurance, retail, and consumer packaged goods industries.
The San Francisco team will be joining us under the Essence Digital name and we will continue to operate as a single global entity. Besides being analytical and results-oriented, Black Bag is also entrepreneurial in spirit, which makes this the perfect fit. We share the same insight and innovation-driven approach to client work, as well as the same cultural ethos.
